Taming of the Shrew
The Taming of the Shrew was byWilliam Shakespeare, with Donald Schwartz as the director of the play. I thought the acting went really well, although, I do not understand Shakespeare, It was a bit of a challenge to understand what they were saying. I didnt like how there was only one set for the whole play, having more of a scenery could make the play more interesting and realistic to the scene of that part of the play. I thought the costumes were unique since some of the girls had to play a guys part. Even though Shakespeare is difficult to comprehend, all the actors spoke loud and clearly. Because The Taming of the Shrew is 4 hours long, Donald had to shorten the play to just 2 hours, although, he could of emphasised more on some of the scenes. The lighting crew did a great job keeping the stage bright and directing each actor across stage when given a spoken part. Overall, I enjoyed the play because of the actors attitudes, and the humor in the play.
