Summary: The play "The Taming of the Shrew" was written by William Shakespeare and directed by Donald Shwartz. I thought the play was good except sometimes I had trouble understanding what they were saying. I understood that Bianca was not allowed to get married until her mean sister Katerina wed, so I atleast got the main point. The play was a little short, now knowing that it was originally longer then 2 hours, I would have liked to see more of it. Overall, it was a good play and good experience to see some of Shakespeares work. I enjoyed watching and hope one day I can maybe see the entire play.

Acting: The acting in my opinion was good, I really didn't see many mistakes but I also dont know the play. They also had to do moves I thought was pretty impressive like Petruchio having to flip Katerina around. The lighting was excellent, they did a very good job lighting up just the actors in motion and dimmed out the back very well. Also, the costumes seemed to be perfect for the time period. Including the part where Katerina needed to buy a hat and they brought out a Orioles cap and Ravens helmet. I thought that was clever and a few other parts were pretty funny.
