Taming of the Shrew

Summary: The play "The Taming of the Shrew" was written by William Shakespeare and directed by Donald Shwartz. This play is about a man named Petruchio who is set to marry a nasty woman(shrew) named Katerina. Throughout the play Petruchio trys to tame Katerina. Kates younger sister Bianca was in love with a man but could not wed until Kate did. In the end Petruchio married Katerina and turned out to be an excellent wife. Bianca and her man Louchencio were able to be together

Acting: Overall the acting was good. But i think that if i was not sitting in the front i would of struggled to hear the actors. And a few people talked as if they did not know their lines. But if i had the oppertunity to see it again i am dubtful that i would go.

Costumes: James Fasching did and excellent job matching the costumes to the time period and and the personalites of the characters.
